Ryan Adams and the Cardinals: A View of Other Windows, is a beautiful collection of personal photography taken by lead guitarist Neal Casal during his years of recording and touring with the RAC. It speaks to the tortures and victories of life on the road, and the sleepless days of recording. I spent a good part of last night in my room flipping through the book once again and enjoyed it as much as the day I bought it. It also features a beautifully written introduction by Ryan Adams, as well as some words from the other band members and an amazing afterword by the legendary Phil Lesh. If you love Ryan Adams’ music you will love this book. Amazon and Barnes & Noble sell it for a kind price. Cheers.
