Another old house I would love to take pictures of...
Here’s another old house that I found while traveling though some of the small towns of the Colorado Rockies. This house sat humbly on an icy dirt road, shadowed by a beautiful chapel that sat across the street, in Silverton Colorado. The house use to belong to a family of miners who lived there around the turn of the century. God I wish I could know who is lucky enough to live in such a...

I knew I was one of the first to the top and that I would be alone for at least ten minutes before my friends would catch up. Starring into the turbulent chasm I focused on the small cottages below, tired and worn, sitting humbly on there cracking foundations. Slowly the clouds calmly filled the gap and all civilization was taken from sight. I felt in that moment as if the end of the flat...

Good Music: Dear in the Headlights.
So this band is over and done with, and that really sucks because I didn’t discover their music until recently when my girlfriend revealed them to me. However, they are excellent and I really love this song “If Not For My Glasses”. The lyrics are awesome, though I can’t really figure into exactly what the song means. Whats really awesome is that these gentlemen are from...

Good Music: Anais Mitchell
I’ve posted this gal before but here we go again. Anais is an amazing songwriter, her fascination with the folklore of far off places and bygone era’s continually influences it. This song Shenandoah is one of her best. Her voice is soft, and charming like a childs, but doesn’t escape the tone of someone who has seen a hardship or two. Enjoy.
Anonymous asked: Who's the guy in those videos with you? the singer... i think he's incredibly handsome, and looks like he could be like a super spy ninja, who also is adept at cooking, skydiving, and horseback riding
Anonymous asked: One more thing, could you repost the post you had a few months ago about the old house you photographed?

Anonymous asked: Can you repost the journal entry/writing you had with that picture of the woods. It talked about a cold trail or something like that, and wet boots? I can't find it in your archives. Thanks

"I saw upon that land a horse as dark as time"
” We photographed him for an hour at least, and as we moved closer and closer, he became tolerant, but not curious of our presence.” - Journal 2010
Last year my friend Adam and I visited my favorite place in Arizona. The location is a secret of mine, but we spotted this wild herd of horses that I have seen over the course of two years. One or two of the ranchers horses at times join...
